Front End Programmer & Interface Developer
HTML / CSS / JavaScript / AJAX / PHP5 / LAMP

A great opportunity for a talented individual. MediaEquals is a fast growing online business developing a major online service for the media industry.
We are hiring someone to take responsibility for the design and coding of the user interface and front end of our sophisticated online media trading application. You will be responsible for developing new services and tools, pulling together the work of our engineers and business people.
Required skills are: Corporate web application design and coding experience – we are a professional B2B online application not a consumer web site. Web programming in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX & JQuery and ideally OO PHP skills to work with our core application, ideally with experience of MVC architecture. Information Architecture experience would be ideal.
Other useful experience: Project development lifecycle, REST, Google maps, content management, SEO techniques
You must come with ideas, be clever, keen, quality and detail focused and always working towards the best user experience rather than taking shortcuts. Expect to be constantly re-factoring your work and reviewing how to improve the code base, performance and service level. You will have to like working in a growing company and to work to deadlines.
