Gary Goodman, Co-founder & CEO
Gary is a Co-founder of MediaEquals and responsible for business strategy, operations and fundraising.
Previously Gary was European Marketing Director for ValueClick Inc. (Nasdaq:VCLK), a leading global provider of digital media solutions.
Before this he worked for Colgate Palmolive and The Wrigley Company, developing and launching new products for the UK and internationally. Having qualified as a lawyer Gary's first job was as a media planner buyer for McCann Erickson.
Gary brings exceptional media industry knowledge to the business having previously bought and sold media as an advertiser, media owner and within a media agency.

Jonathan Bradshaw, Co-founder & Chief Technical Officer
Jon is responsible for the technical development of the MediaEquals trading application and client integration.
Jon trained as a software engineer and worked on early network technology through the late 1980's.
In 1994, he co-founded Point4 Ltd, a successful internet applications business which was sold to Nettec PLC where he joined the board as CTO.
During his time, Jon was also a member of the Technical Advisory Group, a UK Government committee working on policy standards issues.
After Nettec, Jon co-founded an intellectual property licensing business.
Fredrik Lexmon, Co-founder & Chief Operations Officer
Fredrik is responsible for the development of the business, day-to-day operations and client relationship.
Fredrik brings invaluable business experience to MediaEquals having successfully co-founded and developed management consulting firm Soltek UK Ltd and PR industry targeted MTS (Media Tracking System) with clients such as; Barclays Bank, BBC, Carat, IBM, Ogilvy, Microsoft and the Cabinet Office / DEFRA.
A Swedish national, Fredrik joined the group of Lidkoping Ambassadors in 2006 with the aim to bring international commercial and cultural input to the local business community.
In 2000, Fredrik launched Netsurvey Ltd, a leading Swedish internet research company, in the UK.
Non-Executive Directors
Andrew Walmsley
Andrew, Digital Pluralist, founded i-level in 1999, the digital media agency that revolutionised the UK's internet advertising market. He built it to £100m turnover, winning more than 50 awards including Agency of the Year eight times and a Queen's Award for Enterprise. He is now an active investor, sits on the board of several companies, on the Advertising Association's Credos board, and writes a weekly column for Marketing.
Richard Eyre
After 16 Years in advertising, Richard was appointed Chief Executive of Capital Radio plc. in 1991 and in 1997, he became Chief Executive of ITV. In 2000, he became Chief Executive of Pearson TV, and a Director of RTL following PTV’s merger with Bertelsmann’s TV interests. More recently Richard was a Director of the Guardian Media Group, Chairman of GCap and he is now the Chairman of the Internet Advertising Bureau. He is also currently a Director of Grant Thornton.
Martin Banbury
After leaving Procter & Gamble, Martin co-founded, built and sold Communicator, a through-the-line ad agency that was sold to Cordiant In 2000. He then joined and funded the start-up travel insurer Insure and Go - which became the largest specialist travel insurer in the UK. In 2005 Martin founded the Mission Marketing Group PLC, the nationwide ad agency group with over 800 staff. Martin is a co-founder of MediaEquals and has been instrumental in the Companies seed funding and early years of development.
Hannu Ryopponen
Hannu was previously CFO of IKEA during its massive growth phase, and was most recently the deputy CEO and CFO of one the world’s largest paper companies, Stora Enso. Hannu is today a non-executive Director of several listed companies.
Derek Watson
Derek is a Senior Portfolio Manager and Partner of Wake Asset Management; he was also a Senior Portfolio Manager for the Decillion Convertible Arbitrage Fund. Prior to that, he joined from Salomon Brothers where he spent 9 years in the Japanese warrants & convertibles proprietary arbitrage group. He previously worked for Daiwa Securities on Japanese derivatives. Derek is also an SFA General Representative and followed the London School of Economics investment banking securities program.
